PAYMENTS & PARKING

Please ensure to pay your General Admission: £2 per person  and parking £3 per car on arrival. All funds raised on the day are for our charities so the more we can raise the better!! Please feel free to donate what you can. Our Registration team will  be taking payments, registration fees and donations. All payments must be cash only as we do not have a card machine option.

DOG HANDLERS 

The Big Day Out event is a day that celebrates the great outdoors, a fab day for all and all dogs are welcome. We would ask that any visitor bringing a dog to ensure that they are on a lead AT ALL TIMES on all parts of the site. Dog mess must be cleaned up and placed on the bins provided. Doggie Bags are provided complimentary at our registration tent and also at the Bins. We would also ask that dogs are handled by a suitable adult. Please be mindful of dogs that are nervous or anxious of other dogs or may be in public for the first time so ensure to keep your distance.

 

HOW TO ENTER

​Registration for the dog show is on the day from 1:30pm. Our team will be on hand to help you. Let them know your full name, email and your dogs name you will then be allocated a number which is used for all classes you enter. Entry fee is £2 per class. All dogs must be entered individually. We aim to start the show at 2:00pm

WHEN PARTICIPATING

The website shows the running order. Each class will be called over the PA. All dogs must walk in an orderly fashion around the arena. The judges will walk around and take a look. Some classes the judges may wish to find out a bit more about your dog, its history breed etc. They will then ask the top 3 to stay in the arena, the rest of the competitors then leave the arena and 1st, 2nd & 3rd will be awarded

ROSETTE WINNERS

We love to be able to make a big show of each years rosette winners so when you get your rosette you will be asked to make your way to the podium for your picture. Only Red rosette winners will be able to qualify for Best in Show. All photos will be posted to our social media for promotional purposes

Due to UK & NI laws and also Insurance obligations the following breeds are unfortunately not permitted onsite

• Pit Bull terrier

• Japanese Tosa

• Dogo Argentino

• Fila Brasiliero

• XL Bully
